Comprehensive Orofacial Myofunctional Assessment

A comprehensive oral assessment evaluates the structure and function of the oral and facial muscles to identify factors that may be contributing to breathing, feeding, swallowing, speech, sleep and oral development concerns. The assessment includes observation of facial symmetry and posture, lip and tongue function, oral tissues including oral tie screening and diagnosis, palate, dentition, jaw movement, breathing patterns, resting oral posture, chewing and swallowing function, speech observations, oral habits and airway-related screening. Findings are documented to guide individualised therapy recommendations and, where appropriate, referrals to other health professionals for further assessment.

This is an assessment only,  and does not include the 8-week Myofunctional Therapy Program. Should you choose to proceed with the program following your assessment, the cost of the initial consultation will be credited towards the total program fee.
